Worship

At Emmanuel we follow a traditional worship style, that is focused on the Revised Common Lectionary. Our worship is led by our Pastor, who is usually assisted by a lay assistant, and acolytes during special times of the year like Advent and Lent. We practice liturgical worship, the word liturgy comes from a Greek term that means “the work of the people”. This means our services actively involve the people of Christ, as we are not just observers of worship, but we are active participants. In addition to our traditional liturgy, we practice the sacrament of Holy Communion at each of our services. If you are interested in serving as a reader, acolyte, cantor, or usher please reach out to Pastor Tim Scholl. To watch our virtual worship service, click the link below. Worship folders will be posted Fridays before worship, and will remain until the following Thursday.
